OBD
Reading and writing is done via OBD. Easy, right?
OBD after patch in boot
The engine ECU is removed to process a "patch" in order to unlock operations via OBD. Then, the
ECU just needs to be installed back in the vehicle. Reading and writing are then available via OBD.
Boot
The engine control unit is removed and opened. Then reading and writing are available in Boot.
OBD password
The password is read via OBD and the engine control unit is removed. Reading and writing are
available in Boot.
Bench
The engine control unit is removed (but not opened). Reading and writing are then available in
Bench.
OBD after patch in bench
The engine control unit is removed (but not opened) to process a “patch” to unlock operations
via OBD. Then simply install the unit inside the vehicle. Reading and writing are now available via
OBD.
Datalog
Connect the AutoTuner to the OBD socket, then you just need to start the test to record data. A
graph with all measures will be available online.
